Rabbits and guinea pigs both need floor time to run around so if they’re not allowed on the floor I wouldn’t suggest either.

guinea pigs are a lot of work. i have two of them and i think it’s the same as owning a small child. do a lot of research beforehand.

Of course I’ll let it run around. I just making a loop hole for myself if I needed to explain why I wasn’t paying a deposit.

Thanks for the advice both of you. I’ve been reading up on it and will consider buying a guinea pig in the near future.
